This is the core of our vision; a new type of institution that supports the most important human systems.”

Anthony Heyward is the founder of The NRU Corporation and current Executive Director. His experiences creating restorative circle communities for teens and adults include mentoring programs throuout the country.

Rodney Lopez, a founding Board member of the NRU, was featured in the Oscar nominated film, Mad Hot Ballroom. For over 2 decades Rodney has been strengthening community connections through the power of dance. This experience of connectedness builds a foundation for more critical conversations.
